Introduction

Hugh Easton will long be associated with the design of the very early fibreglass craft produced by Appleyard Lincoln - the Elysians. Although built in Ely, these were quickly taken up by Richardsons, with the Fleetway and Streamway classes, launched in the mid 1960s. Hugh also designed several of the Port and Haven Commissioners' launches, at least one of which is still around on the Broads today (2012).
